Thoughts on Proposition 8?

I'm not gay, I have children in school and have no gay family members. However, I have never been taught about marriage in school and neither have any of my children. Why not let every one have their right to pick who they want to marry. It's not bothering any body. A teacher made the mistake in another state, but it is not mandated to teach about marriage in school. Where do these nuts get off using the children in the public school system to sell their crock of **** bill.
