During mitosis seperation from sister chromatids ensures cell will receive two copies of each chromosome?

Mitosis is the name of the cell division where one cell divides to produce two identical daughter cells. To do that the DNA replicates (doubles) and then separates into two new nuclei. And yes, each new cell contains two copies of each chromosome, just like the original.
