Has south Texas basically become an extension of Mexico?

I have no problem. In my experience the Mexican people are hard working , bill paying family oriented Catholics who want a better life. I know of many of us who go to Mexico for medical and dental or to purchase antibiotics all at realistic prices. The only power the Drug cartels have is the fact that America has many addicts and we do not legalize marijuana. We would go a long way towards putting the cartels the way of the Al Capone's here in the states if we did.
