Pearl/oyster meat Oyster Farming?

I want to start raising oysters. How do i find info on oysters. Where can i buy the oysters and are there fresh water oysters that produce pearls or meat. I know there are fresh water oysters but i don't know anything about them. Help Any info helps. Also reccomendations!!
