Is it wrong to dislike your husbands beard?

i feel really bad ,but i am not attracted to my husbands beard at all. saferallah. when i met him he had a goatee,and i loved it. but after our first child was born he decided to try the beard. he kept it trimmed short until this past year he has allowed it to grow. i would say it is around 3 inches now,each and every day i look at it and i just really dint like it. i never liked men with beards , i am a convert to islam,and over the past few years i have studied and read more and tried to educate myself. my husband has listened to the best of scholars such as mohammed han and several other sheiks,and they all say it is an obligatory sunnah and no man must cut his beard shorter than he can grab in his fist. .. i mentioned it again today and he said he is trying to make his faith stronger with the beard. our imam at the mosque has a very short beard not even half an inch long and everyone looks to him as knowledgeable and a good imam,educated in egypt and of good moral character mashallah. i know it is not the beard that gives a person strong faith,as our imam has strong faith and does not really have a beard. so it is the persons heart and soul that has the faith. the beard is merely another way to try to practice the faith more closely. i understand all of this. but as a woman i also have what i like and dont like. it is getting so hard for me to stay attracted to him, to the point relations between us are getting really distant on my side. what can i do? any other sisters feel this way?
